The name “Kiwanis” was coined in 1915 from an Otchipew American Indian expression, “Nunc Kee-wanis”, variously translated as “we trade”, “we share our talents”, “we make a noise”, or “we meet”. The organization’s founders translated it as “We Build”, which became the original motto of Kiwanis.

We offer a family of membership working in harmony to serve the community of children. We offer life long friendships long after members move on through transfers or in general relocations. Kiwanis is in every state of the union and major and not so major cities. As a member you can attend Kiwanis in any state or city.
Membership is open to anyone who has a desire to serve children one child at a time in the Loganville Community and Walton County. If you wish to attend one of our luncheons please contact Eileen A. Waring via email: firstname.lastname@example.org
